The Palo Alto Zen Center operates under the guidance of Cheri Huber, who founded it 20 years ago, and the Zen Monastery Peace Center in Murphys, CA. It is organized and financially supported by the people who practice in the Palo Alto area.

The Palo Alto Zen Center will soon move to a new, temporary location in Menlo Park. The last regularly scheduled meditation and group at the current location will be on Tuesday, January 26th in the evening. For more information and directions please email: information@livingcompassion.org
At the Zen Center
Please wear modest clothing. Shorts are not worn in the Meditation Hall.
Please remain silent before and after events.
Please remove your shoes when entering.
Please do not bring food or drinks
(other than water) into the room.
If You are New:
If you are new to the Zen Center, you will need to attend an orientation. Please call (650) 966-1057 for information about our next scheduled orientation. When you have confirmed that you will attend a scheduled orientation, you will be given directions to the Zen Center.
